Downtown Market

Downtown Manteo Market: Saturdays on the Waterfront in Manteo

Spend your Saturday mornings by the water at the Downtown Manteo Market, a weekly summer tradition celebrating local makers, bakers, growers, artists, and the vibrant spirit of downtown Manteo.

Held at George Washington Creef Park, the Market invites visitors and locals alike to stroll the waterfront, sip coffee by the marina, and shop a curated collection of handmade goods, fresh produce, coastal crafts, art, specialty foods, and more.

Whether you’re visiting the Outer Banks for the week or you call Manteo home, the Downtown Market is more than a place to shop—it’s a place to gather, connect, and experience the charm of our waterfront community. Because in Manteo, you’re not just passing through—you’re part of something. What You’ll Find at the Market:

  • Local artists and makers
  • Fresh produce and baked goods
  • Handmade jewelry and coastal crafts
  • Specialty foods and treats
  • Seasonal vendors and pop-ups
  • Family-friendly atmosphere
  • Scenic waterfront views

Every Market day offers something a little different, making each visit a unique experience.

Our friends from the Manteo Police Department and Community Police Advisory Board will also be joining the fun as we celebrate the start of another summer season along the waterfront at George Washington Creef Park.

Red, White & Local Market — June 27

Celebrate America’s 250th with a patriotic-themed Downtown Market featuring local vendors, music, community activities, and plenty of red, white, and blue along the waterfront at George Washington Creef Park. The Red, White & Local Market highlights the creativity, small businesses, and community spirit that make Manteo such a special place to gather and celebrate.
