Festivities begin Friday afternoon with kids’ activities at Magnolia Pavilion from 4:00–6:00 PM, leading into the Tree Lighting celebration from 6:00–8:00 PM. The official program begins at 7:00 PM, followed by photos with Santa at the Waterfront Trellis and ornament decorating at Dare Arts from 7:00–8:30 PM. Enjoy the glow of the season as the community gathers to light the town tree, filling the waterfront with music, laughter, and holiday wonder.
On Saturday, the celebration continues as the Christmas Parade steps off at 10:30 AM, bringing a cheerful procession of floats, marching bands, and local groups through Downtown.
Free golf cart shuttles will be running during both events, and parking is available at College of The Albemarle – Dare Campus and Manteo Elementary School, making it easy for everyone to join in the fun.
