Dare Arts will close out its 50th anniversary year with two very special holiday jazz performances by the renowned Eric Mintel Quartet in December. During the performances, the Eric Mintel Quartet will bring the beloved music of A Charlie Brown Christmas to life along with original holiday compositions and your favorite Christmas standards.
The performances will be held at 7:00pm on Saturday, December 6 and 2:00pm Sunday, December 7 at The Pioneer Theater in downtown Manteo.
For over 20 years, the Eric Mintel Quartet has enchanted audiences of all ages at the White House, the Kennedy Center, and beyond with high-energy jazz performances and heartfelt musicianship, making this “Charlie Brown Jazz” inspired performance a cherished holiday tradition across the country.
“We are looking forward to seeing everyone for these special concerts,” said musician Eric Mintel. “My jazz quartet has been bringing this timeless music to audiences of all ages and re-introducing the wonderful music of Vince Guaraldi to new generations. The audience can expect hits like Linus and Lucy, Skating, Christmas Time Is Here, plus many original holiday tunes that I’ve written that we’re eagerly awaiting to perform for the great audience on the Outer Banks.”
